Properties

Everything drawn on the map, read as a table instead. Each tab carries its live count, each row selects its span on the map, and features, parts and primers can be edited or deleted from the same place.

Nine real annotation files: GFF3 · GTF · BED · EMBL across three divisions and three molecule types, the 5′-UTR introns most parsers have never met, and the JBEI registry’s own XML

What it does

  1. 01Tabs for features, parts, primers, translations, cut sites and ORFs, each carrying its live count
  2. 02Rows that select and scroll to their span on the map, in both directions
  3. 03Features, parts and primers edited or deleted from the table, with the map following
  4. 04ORFs found under an adjustable minimum size, optionally with additional start codons
  5. 05Cut sites listed per enzyme, scoped by the active enzyme collection
  6. 06Name, topology (circular or linear) and length for the document itself
  7. 07The GenBank record for the open sequence, as text
02

What it runs on

The tables are rendered against the open document, so every count and row is the live sequence rather than a snapshot. The panel runs on @ports/protein.

Everything runs client-side. Files are parsed in the browser and projects are saved on this machine, so an unpublished sequence is never uploaded.

Questions

Does it find open reading frames?
Yes. ORFs are listed with a minimum-size threshold you set, and additional start codons can be included, which matters when the construct is not read under the standard start.
Can I edit an annotation from the table?
Yes. Features, parts and primers can be edited or deleted from their tab, and the map updates as they change.
Is the table scoped to my selection?
When something is selected the view highlights and scrolls to it; with nothing selected the tables cover the whole file.
